How to match images to a website’s color scheme

Sometimes you get awesome images and want to include them into your website as a header or so. But it just doesn’t match the color scheme. Now you could just edit the image every time you would change the image you’re using. Or you’ll use this tipps and get every image to match the color scheme. By using CSS.

Some of the filters for your considerations are:

  • blur()
  • brightness()
  • contrast()
  • hue-rotate()
  • opacity()

The easiest way is to add a sepia-filter and change the hue-rotation, untill it matches the color scheme. This way you’ll get every image to match.

Have you tried it? Or other possible combinations? Tell them in the comments down below!
